Sunday, September 11, 2011 @8:56 AM

I have finally finished my neck warmer!! I love it! It really didn't take me long to do and I now plan on making more as Christmas gifts!! I just need to get myself more buttons.

Here's the pattern that I had designed for this specific neck warmer.

RIBBED STYLE BUTTON NECK WARMER/COWL
I used US 10 needles (6mm) and chunky yarn.
Up to you what yarn and what needles you want to use. I like chunky yarn because it's thick and warm and takes less time to make.

What else you need?
Buttons (3 or 6)
Yarn sewing needles

Abbreviations:K - knit
P - purl
YO - yarn over
K2tog - knit 2 together
Ptbl - purl through back loop
Ktbl - knit through back loop

CO 24 St1. ROW 1 *K4, P1tbl* all the way across ending in last 4 knits of row
2. Row 2 *P4, K1tbl* all the way across ending in last 4 purls of row

4. Row 4 (eyelet buttonholes row) K3, (YO K2Tog), K6, (YO K2Tog), K6, (Yo K2Tog), K3 for 3 buttonholes in total.
5. Continue pattern (lines 1 and 2) all the way until desired length of neck warmer and bind off.

7. Weave in any stray yarn and you are DONE! ENJOY!!
